Below is an example what an interesting and informative profile could look like. While promoting your business without needing to sales pitch, you are adding personality and flair attracting dynamic individuals like yourself.
Let’s take a look at the what people see when they first land on your profile page.
- Ensure you upload an attractive banner reflecting your business, personality and style.
- Have room on the banner for a message, slogan, your name or what is important to you.
- This is the location for the company logo placeholder. We recommend to place a headshot there as this is what will show up in conversations and comments when you are communicating with other members on Alignable. People are more likely to respond when they see a person instead of a company logo.
- Make sure you have selected the right business category for your business.
- Accept recommendations from members that you have done business with or spoken to.
- Use the Featured Tags to make it easier for members to find you on the Alignable Network.
- Next you have a section “Our Ideal Customer” fill that in with your client avatar so people will know who you serve best.
- Right below this section is “Types of customers we want to be referred to” and add as many possible tags you can think of for your business. This will help get you found when others are searching to make new connections.
- The “About Us” section is great for expanding on what makes you/your business different from others offering a similar service or product
- The “How We Got Started” section, use it to tell your story! This will make you more personable and help people connect and relate to you.
